We serve a huge range of classics at The Lifeboat, with the offer constantly changing to match the seasons. Everything we create is sourced, prepared and cooked with provenance in mind, using locally-reared meat, freshly-caught fish and locally-grown fruit and veg. We cater for all dietary requirements, and have a special children’s menus to delight little appetites. You’ll love what our chefs prepare for you.
Our restaurant
You’ll be spoilt for choice when you come and eat at The Lifeboat. Will you sit in our traditional bar that’s full of history, cosy corners and roaring fires; or perhaps choose the relaxed dining room with its friendly atmosphere?
The Sail
Want to share good times with a larger party or book a family gathering? Make The Sail your destination. This alfresco style terrace is the latest addition to The Lifeboat and it’s the perfect pit stop after long walks on Thornham beach and the ideal spot for supper on a beautiful warm North Norfolk evening. Open from 11am with last orders at 8pm, we advise you to book early, especially during the summer holidays.
